About the project
Identity for a car service. סיבובים (sivuvim) is Hebrew for revs, and for the turns of a road. The logo is a car number plate: a yellow field, a thin black rim, the blue strip with the flag, and one word where the numbers should be.
Every car already carries a plate, so the sign needs no explaining: drivers read it the way they read the car in front. The service bays are numbered with small plates of their own, 01, 02, 03, and the mechanics wear the plate across the back of the shirt and on the overalls.
The plate keeps its proportions everywhere: a long sign the length of the facade, the side of the van, a windscreen sunshade, a business card, and a billboard by the road with one line under the logo, המוסך שלך בסיבוב הבא, “your garage is round the next bend”.
